Step 1. Think about your dream event setup.
How would you want your event to be laid out in relation to your venue? Think about how you want seating to be organized for the reception and the ceremony. Do you want rectangular or circle tables for dinner? You don't need to have any definite decisions, just an idea for what you want. Pinterest is a great tool in this first step!
Step 2. Decide on the details of your outdoor party tent.
A lot of this depends on the time of year your wedding is taking place. If t's in the colder months, sidewalls and heaters are a must. If it's in the summer, we recommend adding cooling units. It's also important to decide what you want to take place under the tent. If you want the ceremony to be outside the tent and the reception to be under the tent then be sure to take that into consideration when planning a tent size. Also think about how many guests you expect to be there and the space you'll have for tent setup. Is your event taking place at a location where we can stake the tent into the ground? If not, we'll need to find another solution to safely secure the tent to the ground. Another thing to consider is the type of tent you prefer. ColdIron has traditional white pole tents or clear-top tents. Both are beautiful and can be easily decorated with string lights.
